After yesterday’s water sports activities, we started our day with a video call with Maurizio, a local activist from Volterra G.I.A.N section, who presented the current situation of the pollution of the river Cecina. To maintain the diversity of the week’s program, we continued with a light but educative session about water waste and pollution.
After a strong thunderstorm, the sun came up, and we did not miss the occasion of refreshing ourselves in the sea. To amplify Tuesday’s heavy workshop on water wars, on a more positive note we went on with successful examples of water activism and on possible actions of our own implications. Three more days to go, but is still so much to flow.
